On arriving at the centre your instructor will begin with a safety briefing, instructions on your kart controls and you'll be provided with protective clothing. To familiarise yourself with the karts and the circuit there will be a few initial practice laps, then the competitive action begins with a typical programme consisting of a series of thrilling heats or warm ups, semi-finals and top performers experiencing a heart-thumping final.
